After leaving Sprouts, I noticed a new dental office and thought, what do you know—I’m due for a cleaning! I called the office, and the woman who answered, Tiffany (as I later learned), was incredibly kind and welcoming. She helped me set up my appointment and e-chart with no hassle. When I came in a few days later, I received the same warm greeting. We laughed and chatted (“kiki’d”), which helped ease my nerves because I always get anxious about going to the dentist. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly makes you feel comfortable. We were laughing through most of my appointment! They also set me up with a no-pressure payment plan for some work I needed done, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my future cleanings and any dental work. Highly recommend!

From the front desk, hygienist, doctor, facilities - across the board this was a fantastic experience! I moved back into town and needed a dentist and truly feel like I stumbled upon the best spot. Dr. Bishay was very nice, knowledgeable and patient. I was able to ask many questions. My hygienist, Ayalit, explained everything thoroughly which was helpful. I also really liked the office manager, Tiffany. She was so helpful and knowledgeable in developing a plan for all my dental work. She also helped with my insurance queries. Overall 10/10 recommend this spot!

Huge shoutout to this office. The whole team made me feel welcome and took the time to thoroughly educate me on my needs while addressing all of my concerns. I had a lot of questions, but Dr. Cowan and Paola did an excellent job taking the time to explain each and every one of them. I had some fillings and cleaning taken cared of while my crown was being made, fast same day service. Thank you all for making my first experience here an amazing one. Definitely recommend this office.

Truly the best experience I've had at the dentist in a long time. The crew was welcoming, calming, and patient. Dr Cowan was quick and very perfessional. I was able to get in and get out with no pain. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know!

I have always been impressed by professionalism and quality of service, but being able to experience that from all staff is amazing. The personalized attention and emphasis on patient comfort make this practice exceptional. Tiffany Long was so awesome and I love her energy and how she communicates when explaining insurance information. Dr. Cowan was awesome along with his dental assistants that was working with him. He made sure I was comfortable and was given a full a full breakdown of all cost prior to doing work on my mouth. In one appointment I was able to two fillings and a cap. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dental office.

I saw that this office had just opened and decided to check them out—so glad I did! They were able to get me, my fiancé, and my brother all in on the same day, which was amazing. Dr. Bishay and Tiffany are both super nice. I usually get nervous going to the dentist, but they really helped me feel comfortable the entire time. The facility is clean, spacious, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. They also are flexible with payments which is super helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new dentist! :)

I’ve had the worst luck struggling to find a good, honest dental office. I’m happy to say, I have FINALLY found one and I could not be happier with the services I’ve received thus far. It’s going to be a long journey for me, but I stand confident it’ll all be a smooth ride. This place is exceptional! Great customer service from the time I called to make my 1st initial appointment to the time I checked out. Thank you, Dr. Cowan DDs, Yareli, Paola and “Aya” for making this the best experience yet.

Dr. Cowan and his entire staff are the best. Polite, helpful, and caring from start to finish. Dr. Cowan takes the time to address any concerns you may have and he explained in detail the treatments I was to receive. The office has all of the latest dental technology and is immaculate. Such a positive experience and that can be hard to find these days. My husband and I are very happy that we found Long Beach Modern Dentistry and you will be too.

Yesterday I had my new patient appointment with Dr. Cowan at Long Beach Modern Dentistry, and I was completely taken aback by his level of service and genuine care. Dr. Cowan and his team were extremely attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The office is very clean and everyone from Dr. Cowan, to the oral hygienist, dentist assistant, and admin staff, has excellent chair-side manner. They were incredibly thorough and taught me new ways to improve my oral hygiene that I never knew before. I realized there were things I had been doing that weren’t actually helping my overall oral and gum health. Unlike my past dentists who used the same basic approach to cleanings, this office goes far beyond the basics. They used advanced dental technology during my cleaning and also performed a variety of assessments and scans to really evaluate where my oral and gum health currently stands. I had a few areas that need improvement, so Dr. Cowan created a clear treatment plan moving forward. I left my appointment feeling confident that at this office I will truly be improving and strengthening my oral and gum health, and not just managing it. Their office name “Modern Dentistry” is very fitting. Their approach, high-quality care, and technology is top tier and on another level compared to any dental office I’ve been to. If you’re looking for a dentist in the Long Beach area who uses modern technology and takes the time to educate their patients, I highly recommend Dr. Cowan and the entire team at Long Beach Modern Dentistry.
